Val's Listeners Comment About Their Kid's Meltdown Over Something Silly

Valentine asked our listeners to share their hilarious stories about when their kid had a total meltdown, tantrum because of something super silly! These stories are so great!

(951): My 2 year old daughter throws a tantrum because I cannot turn the brightness down on the sun.

(818): My 4-yr-old had a meltdown last month because she was supposed to get ice cream, but Daddy bought her a sundae. "You said you were gonna get ice cream!!"

(714): I debated sending this but this has to do with Jill and Disneyland. I once had to explain to my 9 year old that he couldn''t go to Disneyland with her because we didn''t know her he didn''t like that answer cause he hears her every morning.

(909): 2 year daily meltdown: my daughter has a ridiculous meltdown every morning when we drop off my son to school (1st grade). It''s happened every school morning since school has started!

(626): It wasn't my kid, but I work as a counselor at a summer camp and one of the kids who's 5 years old threw a tantrum because he got wet during a water balloon fight.

(714): My 5 year old had a melt down because the butter melted on his toast!

(909): 6 and a half year old son didn't finish dinner so he locked himself in the bathroom. Meanwhile family in living being loud and son opens bathroom door yells "can u guys be quiet !! I''m trying to be sad here!"

(909): My daughter made a wish when we broke the wishbone on Thanksgiving. The next morning she was rather upset that she was not a mermaid. She is six.

(213): My three-year-old was trying to go number two in the toilet and she started crying and because her "butt wasn't working."

(626): My 2 year old daughter had a meltdown yesterday night because she didn't want her pajamas with feet. Then she had a meltdown when I took them off. Suzanne

(818): 3 year old...his cousin came over last night and he insisted that he hold all 10 of his markers with his tiny hands so he didn''t have to share withy his cousin. He didn''t want to put them in the box or in a drawer and cried cuz he kept dropping one.

(818): My 18 mo old son asked me to open the door so we could play in the backyard and when I went to opened the door he threw himself on the floor and had a full blown meltdown and started screaming no!!!!!

(626): I work at a day camp and I cannot even tell you how many times kids have freaked out and thrown fits because someone "took their stick"
