TMZ reports details from the night of her near-fatal overdose. After partying all night in West Hollywood, Demi texted her drug dealer at 4 in the morning. He arrived to her home with dirty Oxycodone that he bought in Mexico.
A source told TMZ that the pair “freebased Oxycodone on tin foil.” Addicts often turn to freebasing, which concentrates the drug to produce an intense high. But the dealer ditched Demi when he noticed signs of trouble. She laid in bed but was “breathing very heavily.”
Six hours later, Demi’s assistant discovered her unconscious. A dose of Narcan saved her life.
