"Holiday Burnout" is a Thing and Almost Everyone Experiences It!

Are you already tired of the holidays even though they haven’t really started yet? Well apparently you're not alone because a new study is saying that a TON of people experience holiday burnout too!

The study says that about 68% of Americans consider the holiday season a stressful time, while 35% admit that they get burnt out on the holiday season way before Christmas arrives.

The poll also found that the average American will spend 38 hours getting ready for the holidays with about 13 hours alone spent for shopping. Essentially you're spending a day and a half of your life solely just for the holidays every year! Here are the rest of the contributors to "holiday burnout""

  4. Buying presents (51%)
  5. Cooking (48%)
  6. Knowing what gifts to buy people (46%)
  7. Constantly hearing holiday music (45%)
  8. The pressure of making Christmas day special (44%)
  9. Constantly seeing holiday commercials on TV (36%)
  10. Wrapping presents (34%)
