Maine Will Pay Your Student Loans If You Move There!

If you need help paying your student loans then you might want to move to Maine because they're offering to help pay off your student loan debts as long as you become a resident!

Called the Educational Opportunity Tax Credit program the state of Maine allows residents to use loan payments as tax credits.

While this doesn't mean they're going to instantly give you a bag of cash when you move it can definitely help you out comes tax season!

By having loan payments as tax credits this means that around tax season if you paid $1,500 toward your loans and owe the Maine $1,700 in taxes, you'll only have to pay Maine $200.

It also works the other way too if you paid off more loans then you owe taxes! Time to start considering Maine as a future!
