If you like your co-workers then you might want to stop taking a lot of vacation time because a new study says that your co-workers get more stressed when you take a vacation!
According to the study, the average American’s workload increases by 30% when covering for an absent co-worker, according to new research.
While almost 40% of workers feel stressed out they are essentially covering your workload when you are gone. This can also lead to resentment towards you for ditching that co-worker to go to the Bahamas.
So next year just try to space out your vacation, or if you really don't like your co-workers just plan it all in one month!
