New Study Claims That Most Americans Have Pre-Sex Rituals

It turns out that a ton of Americans need a little extra motivation in the bedroom besides making out because a new study says that almost 38% of Americans have a pre-sex ritual!

A study conducted by OnePoll and Pure Romance found out that if people are confident about the possibility of having sex that they will perform better in bed.

Women focus more on their looks while men need to focus on confidence before doing the deed with someone and here are some of the more popular pre-sex ritauls:

  • Taking a shower
  • Brushing teeth and using mouthwash
  • Lighting candles
  • Eating chocolate, pineapples, bananas, watermelon, and oysters (aka aphrodisiacs)
  • Putting on clean underwear

However, that's not all because 36% of Americans also have a post-sex ritual with intimacy-building being the main goal. Here are some of the more popular post-show habits:

  • Cuddling
  • Watching TV
  • Re-hydrating
  • Spooning
  • Getting Dressed
  • Getting on Social Media
