Here is a rescue you don't see every day. A Chisago County Sheriff's officer rescues a group of people stuck in weeds in a rainbow unicorn in Minnesota.
A sheriff's deputy and a reserve deputy from the Chisago County Sheriff's Office spotted a group of five women on a large, inflatable rainbow unicorn floating on Fish Lake Saturday.
And this is what I find the funniest about this story-KMSP-TV reports the deputies pulled their squad car over and asked the women for a photo, but noticed the raft was stuck in weeds-Hahaha!
A sheriff's office tweet says, 'With a handful of laughs and some mad rescue roping skills they were pulled back to the dock.'
The plastic inflatable has been making quite the splash this summer, coming in not only unicorn shape, but also giant flamingos and peacocks that can fit up to six people.
The trendy floats, which have sold out on US-based online retailer Sam's Club, come complete with cup holders, benches and built-in drinks coolers - retailing for $150.
However, the float seems to not have come with directions for how to get out of a sticky situation.
Deputy Scotty Finnegan, who threw the rope, says the women would have had trouble getting out of the mucky lake unassisted.
