The Randoms: Apple HQ becoming Dangerous for Some Employees

In honor of International Women's Day … Mattel just released a new line of Barbies called the "inspiring women" collection, which features three historic female figures: Amelia Earhart, Frida Kahlo, and Katherine Johnson. Each doll, priced at $30, comes with a booklet describing each woman and how her contributions changed the world. (Today)

Just settle … That’s the advice being given to single women in China. The country's one-child policy, which was in effect until 2015, created an extreme gender gap. In fact, experts say that within 30 years there will be 30 million more single men than women in the country. The solution, according to some officials, is for women to be less picky. Yep, young women are being blamed for low marriage and birth rates in the country because they are "being too fussy" about partners. With so many more men than women, women are holding out for their perfect guy. But, believe it or not, they are being told they should settle for a "more or less OK" groom rather than waiting for Mr. Right. "Marriage is a process of tolerating each other, and it's impossible that everything goes your way," said the state-run newspaper Sichuan Daily. "Change your attitude, return to the reality. Maybe there'll be some imperfection, but your life will be full for it." (The Sun)

How normal is your sex life? According to a new survey, the average American couple has sex nine times a month -- 108 times a year. Also, the average couple has sex for 69 minutes per week – or 60 hours a year. The survey, by adult product online retailer EdenFantasys, found that 75 percent of respondents said their busy schedules prevented them from doing it regularly, and 60 percent said they wish they were getting it on more often. 12 percent of respondents said they were lucky to have sex even just once a month. 52 percent of respondents said they actually schedule sex, with Saturday night being the most scheduled night. As if the glass ceiling wasn’t bad enough … The corporate headquarters for Apple in Northern California is a beautiful, futuristic building -- but it’s not perfect. In fact, for some, it's actually dangerous. Seems employees have been getting injured walking into clear glass walls and clear glass doors. Over the past couple of months, there have been multiple calls to 911 for medical help as people are bouncing off the glass and sometimes suffering head injuries. (San Francisco Chronicle)

Lovin’ every body … Reese Witherspoon’s Draper James clothing brand is partnering with plus-size fashion line Eloquii to launch a collection of stylish clothing in sizes 12 to 28. The collection will be available at Eloquii, Rent the Runway, and Draper James  -- which, Reese points out, are "three female-led companies." (Glamour
