Watch Megan Rapinoe Surprise Sports Illustrated's 'Sports Kid of the Year'

You know her and love her from the U.S. Women’s National Team who won the World Cup earlier this year (see above... it's kind of a big deal.) And now Megan Rapinoe just made one teen's day (and probably week, month, year) by surprising her with the news that she was selected as Sports Illustrated's 'SportsKid of the Year'.

Ally Sentnor, is a 15-year-old soccer star from Hanson, Massachusetts, and was just named Sports Illustrated‘s SportsKid of the Year - a title for young athletes who embody "excellence in competition, community and the classroom," according to a press release by Sports Illustrated.

She is only sophomore in high school, but Ally has already committed to play for the North Carolina Tar Heels in 2022. Ally has scored 15 goals in 18 international appearances with the U.S. national team program, according to SI, so she's kind of a big deal.

See the video below of the moment Megan got to surprise Ally with the title, and be prepared to get a little emotional:

Seriously, why am I crying?! Obviously she knew she was up for the title or that SOMETHING was going on being that there were camera crews at her house and she was being interviewed, but you can tell she is genuinely surprised to get a video from Megan and hear the news.

I can't imagine what that kind of accomplishment would feel like at only 15 years old, and now I'm dying to see Ally and Megan play together on the field some day.

I think Ally asking "can I have that video?" is my favorite part of this, because she was just so shocked that Megan even knew she existed.

Congratulations to Ally and shout out to Megan for the sweet video! GO LADIES, GO!!
