Yesterday the California State University's board approved an annual tuition hike of 6% for the next 5 years but there will also be an increase in student financial aid by $49 million.
Next year, CSU students will see an increase from their current $5,742 tuition cost to $6,084 for the 2024-2025 school year. Having this increase will generate an additional $148 million for the system next year but this decision has many people upset.
