I've always enjoyed having a "not so normal" name. When I was a kid there were no one else with the name "Jana" in my class.
I've met a few along the way, but not too many.
And when it came time to name my daughter, I wanted her to have the same experience. I always felt like having a unique name instantly set you apart from the pack.
But can it go too far?
Studies say YES.
If you're name is hard to pronounce, or say... people will tend to stay away from it. And in some cases completely avoid it.
