What an exciting time for Shawn Mendes. The 19-year-old just released his new self-titled album on May 25th, and what better way to celebrate than with a stadium full of fans during this year's iHeartRadio Wango Tango by AT&T at the Banc of California stadium.
During his performance, Shawn performed a few songs from his new third studio album including "In My Blood," "Lost In Japan," and "Nervous." But he also performed a few of our Mendes faves including "There's Nothing Holding Me Back," "Stitches," "Mercy," and an awesome mashup of "Treat You Better" and Kings of Leon's "Use Somebody."
From the second Shawn stepped out on stage, and even beforehand, the entire stadium went wild for the Canadian singer/songwriter, singing along with him throughout the entire set, and screaming at the top of their lungs.
It was clear that Shawn's Mendes Army was THERE for their king.
And if you thought the fans at the actual stadium were loud, the fans on Twitter were even louder. Take a look at some of the Twitter reactions to Shawn Mendes's Wango Tango performance that will make you say, "same."
