In an interview with Z100's Maxwell at the 2017 iHeartRadio Daytime Village, Bebe Rexha opened up about performing at the event and the iHeartRadio Music Festival, her climb to reach the success she has now, and more.

"I think it's kind of been like a long journey... I remember coming to iHeart and watching it on TV... Finally being able to be here taught me [that] you have to never really give up on your dreams," Rexha told Maxwell, as they both laid down in a ball pit and spoke.

The singer/songwriter continued: "I've been the underdog. I've been dropped from labels, I've had people tell me no. But, I said, 'Ok, I'll just write my own songs, I'm gonna prove you wrong.' I did that and here I am, in the ball pit with you, at iHeartRadio."

Rexha has a lot to be proud about. This year's iHeartRadio Music Festival is the seventh annual one. It was definitely a lucky concert for her because the singer/songwriter became the very first artist to perform on the Daytime Village stage and at BOTH nights of the Music Festival, in the same weekend!

Bebe Rexha is a force to be reckoned with and a bright star in the making, indeed.
