She still doesn't get it

With an elegant shawl draped around her neck, a thousand-dollar scarf, her nose pointed sharply upward, Hillary Clinton whines about the burden of high fashion. She does this a lot, the whole “blame your problems on everyone else and they'll give you power" schtick.

Clinton, who is known for wearing $12,000 Armani jackets, so it's hard to listen to her recent interview with ABC News in Australia. And, look, there is nothing wrong with wearing a $12,00 jacket. Who cares—if that's how you want to spend $12k, go right ahead. But don't turn around and whine about how people are “undermining" women for their fashion and their looks.

If people notice it at all—because, let's be honest, we're starting to suspect that you just want us to know that you're wearing Armani—people notice because you buying a $12k jacket is only further proof that you're part of an elite class of people who view the rest of the country as scum.

In the interview, Hillary spent a cringeworthy amount of her complaining about the oppressive world, a world that views women as unfit for power, and she says it as if we're still living in that world—as if we're still a living version of a Mad Men episode.

“A large proportion of the population uneasy with women in positions of leadership"? That's code for “dumb redneck yokels out on the plain with their banjos and their shotguns." She has no idea who we are. What we are guided by, what defines us. She's so delusional that she thinks we're all so dumb that she can make these blanket statements about us and get away with it.

A large proportion of the population is ready for you to just move on and stop throwing your little tantrums.

“A large proportion of the population uneasy with women in positions of leadership"?

No, Mrs. Clinton, you're misunderstanding it. Again. Most of the population is happy with women and more than happy with women in power (Nikki Haley or Sarah Huckabee Sanders, for example). What “a large proportion of the population" is uneasy with is being categorically insulted, demeaned, and looked down on.

A large proportion of the population is tired, Mrs. Clinton. A large proportion of the population is sick of your whining and elitist nonsense. A large proportion of the population is ready for you to just move on and stop throwing your little tantrums. A large proportion of the population is thanking God that you lost the election.
