A time lapse video of a thunderstorm over Myrtle Beach, South Carolina seems to show a veritable armada of odd orbs hovering in the sky. The footage was filmed in early August, but only reported to MUFON late last week. According to the witness "I was taking the pictures off the edge of a long pier after dark, so there were no reflective surfaces around."
In the video, which was apparently shot as a thunderstorm moved into the area, a number of brightly-glowing spheres can be seen in the sky which occasionally lights up due to lightning strikes. A photograph of the scene shows a somewhat clearer view of these objects that appear to be lingering over some hotels along the beach. As is often the case, the witness also said that they did not notice the seemingly out-of-place lights until they examined their video and photo later that evening.
