If you think the frigid temperatures blasting parts of the United States this week are bad, imaging living in St. Petersburg, Russia, where the city was covered by unexplained blue snow!
The unsettling coating of azure raised concerns among residents that perhaps the snow had become colored by some kind of pollutant.
Particularly troubling is that a chemical research facility had recently been demolished in the city, leaving some to wonder if that event may have somehow been the source of the blue hue found in the snow.
