John Legend made history over the weekend as the FIRST African-American EGOT. At 39-years-old, John is also one of the youngest EVER to claim the prestigious honor.
EGOT stands for the four big awards in the entertainment industry: Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony.
Legend won an Emmy at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards in LA, as did Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice for their contributions to "Jesus Christ Superstar Live In Concert."
Only 13 people have won all four titles!
Huge congratulations on the rarest of achievements Mr. Legend.
