It seems ladies are attracted to strong hands.
Columbia University researchers looked at data from over 5,000 people that assessed participants' grip strength between the ages of 59 and 71.
Researchers found that men born after 1935 were less likely to be married if they had a weaker grip strength.
Study author Dr. Vegard Skirbekk explains, "Our results hint that women may be favoring partners who signal strength and vigor when they marry."
Similar studies have found men with strong handshakes are less likely to suffer from erectile dysfunction and cope better on their own.
