Donald Trump is coming to California for the first time as president.
President Trump is expected to arrive at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar Tuesday afternoon to take a look at the prototypes for the border wall he wants to build.
Meanwhile, Gov. Brown has invited President Trump to come to California's Central Valley while he's in the Golden State.
Brown extended the invitation in a letter, stating that the president should see the state's high-speed rail construction project--which we lovingly refer to as "the crony express"!
The cost of Brown's train project continues to increase. It's now estimated to be in the $77 billion to $98 billion range--with completion set back yet another 4 years, sometime in the 2030's.
Governor Brown says California is focusing on bridges, not walls, and the project has put 1,700 people to work.
