Millie Bobby Brown does not really care what you have to say about her friendship with Drake.

Following criticism of her comments about the "God's Plan" rapper giving her boy advice, the Stranger Things star took to Instagram Stories, to let the world know, there's nothing wrong with getting a little help from your friends.

"Why u gotta make a lovey friendship ur headline? U guys are weird… for real," the 14-year-old actress wrote. "I'm lucky to have people in the business extend their time to help me further my career and offer their wisdom and guidance."

On Monday (September 17), while on the 2018 Emmy Awards red carpet, Millie dished about her close bond with the "In My Feelings" rapper. "I love him. I met him in Australia and he's honestly so fantastic," she gushed to Access, adding that Drake is "a great friend and a great role model."

"We just texted each other the other day. He was like, 'I miss you so much,' I was like, 'I miss you more,' he's great," she added. When asked what advice the 31-year old rapper gives her, Millie said, "About boys. He helps me. He's great. He's wonderful."

The Internet was not particularly happy with their topic of discussion nor their close bond, with many calling it inappropriate given their age difference. However, it seems Millie couldn't care less. "I'm very blessed to have amazing people in my life," she added in her statement. "U don't get to choose that for me. It's nice to have people who understand what I do. Now get back to talking about real problems in this world other than my friendships… jeez."

Millie ended her Instagram Stories post with a message to her fans. "To all the supporters: I love you guys," she wrote. "thank you for supporting me. Many thanks to u guys. Sending my love to wherever u are in the world."
