So, there's this new dating safety app called “Tea” that’s gaining major buzz especially on TikTok and basically, it lets women post photos of guys they're talking to and crowdsource intel from other women about them.
You can kinda crowd-review dates, spot red flags, or green-flag good guys.
There’s even options for background checks and catfish verification.
It’s invite-only for women…you actually have to show a photo with your ID—and there’s already a waiting list in some cities.
It’s not totally accepted tho! Some say women could be sued for defamation if they post false or harassing claims, even if they’re “true,” and in extreme cases, could cross into stalking.
Bottom line... It’s becoming this really powerful tool, but with power comes responsibility—and risk.
But women warning other women about toxic guys, catfishers, and players? I’m all for it.
