There's Some Drama Between Lululemon & Costco...But I'm Not Mad At A Dupe!

Lululemon just slapped Costco with a lawsuit, claiming that their Kirkland line and even brands like Danskin and Spyder are selling these crazy-similar versions of Lululemon’s signature gear, like their Scuba hoodies, Define jackets, and ABC pants.

Lululemon says these “dupes” are practically tricking folks into thinking they’re buying the real deal but for a tiny fraction of the price.

I disagree with this. I don’t think anyone is mistakenly buying these thinking they are the real deal. They are just stoked at the cheaper price and similar look!

This is all over social media now too with #LululemonDupes, pointing right at Costco’s knockoffs, which probably didn’t sit well with Lululemon.

So, Lululemon is asking the court to ban Costco from selling these lookalikes and to get them to cough up damages.

For now, Costco hasn’t responded publicly, so the whole thing’s brewing in court.

But seriously…do you want the Lululemon ABC pants for $128, or the Kirkland 5 pocket pants for 10 bucks…they are almost identical!
