Okay, so apparently there’s this whole trend of people taking “Adulting 101” classes to learn super basic life stuff—like how to budget, do laundry, or even boil pasta!

One person in the article said they didn’t know how to mail a letter!

And schools are actually offering legit classes now to help with these things. It’s kind of hilarious but also totally understandable. I mean, no one really teaches you this stuff, and suddenly you're supposed to just know how to do it all?

Honestly, it makes sense. Between growing up with everything digital and school focusing more on academics, a lot of the real-world stuff just gets skipped.

I mean, what good does long division do someone if they don’t know what a 401K is?

Now people are realizing they need help with things like scheduling a doctor’s appointment, how to change a tire, how to sew up a hole in your pants, and instead of Googling it and hoping for the best, they’re signing up for these adulting workshops.

UC-Riverside offers this class as do many California State Universities…and even the LA County Library.

It’s like Home Ec made a comeback—but with better branding.
