3 DOORS DOWN singer Brad Arnold has revealed that he is battling clear cell renal cell carcinoma, a type of kidney cancer. In a video message, Arnold shared the diagnosis of stage four ccRCC that had metastasized into his lung, leading to the cancellation of the band's summer tour. Clear cell renal cell carcinoma is the most common type of kidney cancer in adults, with a five-year survival rate ranging from 50-69%. Arnold, who celebrated nine years of sobriety in January, credited his Christian faith for his recovery. 3 DOORS DOWN, formed in 1995, has achieved global success with multiple platinum albums and hits like "Kryptonite" and "Here Without You."
