The entire album “Cowboy Carter” is truly a work of art…including collaborations with Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton, Miley Cyrus and Post Malone to name a few…

But it’s the song that features her daughter Rumi that everyone is talking about.

"Protector" appears to be a love song to her children and refers to a parent's specific kind of love.

Rumi appears at the very beginning of the song and says, "Mom, can I hear the lullaby please?"

It’s a beautiful song…listen to these lyrics: "And I will lead you down that road if you lose your way / Born to be a protector, mm-hmm / Even though I know someday you’re gonna shine on your own / I will be your projector, mm, mm-hmm”.

It’s like the unofficial “Mother’s Day Anthem”. Everyone on social is bawling over this song (even people that don’t have kids).
