Are Air Taxis Coming To LA In The Next Few Years??

Hyundai’s Supernal showed off its latest design for an air taxi at CES 2024 in Vegas last week.

I wish I was there to see it in person but to actually have a model is kind of MAJOR!

The Supernal air taxi is an electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft.

It can take up to four passengers and can cruise at 120 miles per hour. It’s apparently as quiet as a dishwasher and can go from zero to 60 miles per hour during takeoff.

They will have a range of 25 miles to 40 miles, with each trip taking just minutes instead of an hour in a car. Imagine skipping traffic from Calabasas to downtown LA during rush hour for a concert at Crypto!

At first, you’ll make reservations for air taxis. But at some point, you’ll just be able to go and catch the flights that are maybe 10 or 20 minutes apart. OMG, like the metro or bus system!

Los Angeles transportation officials are preparing for this new era and expect these drone-like electric air taxis to be operational by the time the 2028 Summer Olympics roll around, if not far sooner.

So, the big question is: do you trust it!????
