An enormous swarm of locusts filled the sky over several parts of a Mexican state and left many unsettled residents fearing that the eerie event was a harbinger of the End Times. According to a local media report, the unnerving incident occurred this past Tuesday afternoon when people living in the Yucatan capital city of Merida and surrounding communities noticed that the day had suddenly grown inexplicably darker. When they looked overhead to see what had caused the strange change, they were stunned to see that the sun had been obscured by thousands of locusts passing over the area.
