I was 6 years old when Beetlejuice was released and I've been a fan ever since. Back in June of 2019 I took my family to see Beetlejuice The Musical on Broadway! It was absolutely incredible! We've been hearing for years that a sequel to Beetlejuice was coming but I never got my hopes up. Now we now it's OFFICIALLY happening! Michael Keaton will reprise his role as Beetlejuice, ‘Wednesday’ star Jenna Ortega is set to play the daughter of Winona Ryder's character from the original movie, and Tim Burton will return as director. Warner Bros. announced the movie will begin filming this week in London.
Beetlejuice 2 hits theaters Sept. 6 of 2024!
Honestly, I'd say two of the most influential 'fictional' characters in my life would be Beetlejuice and Pee-Wee Herman.
