Alien or Aircraft? FAA Closes Airspace Over Northern Wisconsin

Ancient Aliens, or not so ancient aliens? The FAA doesn't want us to know. According to MSNBC, the Federal Aviation Administration temporarily banned civilian air traffic over parts of Lake Michigan in northern Wisconsin (February 12) declaring a "national defense airspace."

At this time, The FAA has yet to give reasoning to the decision, though the decision came shortly after an incident in Montana (February 10) in which they declared a national defense airspace due to an unidentified flying object. NBC News' Monica Alba noted that similar language has been used in both restrictions by the FAA citing "department of defense activity" and saying that they are "reviewing everything but it was simply too dark to tell what [they] had potentially raised as a flag" and that they "needed to wait for conditions to improve to observe an unidentified flying object." SUS.

While we wait for more information from the FAA, all we can do is speculate as to the nature of the unidentified object that has the military on defense - Weather balloon, or did the aliens just want to stop by for some of that creamy Wisconsin cheese?
