We’ve all been there… our mind is racing and we can’t fall asleep. So what are we supposed to do?
Well, sleep experts say counting sheep… is an absolute NO! They say it doesn’t work – and doing it might even mean you take even longer to finally rest.
Instead we are supposed to go on a ‘mental walk’.
This is what we do… We are supposed to think about a walk we know really well… and visualize it! Whether it be the beach, along the boardwalk or hiking Runyon Canyon…
Either way you focus on every single detail… “this is me leaving my front door and walking down my steps” and if you do that before you know it…you’re alarm will be going off.
I gotta tell you, I used to be a sheep counter and last night I tried this method and it worked! And I think much faster!
