Okay now this is such a dope story! A 7th grader from Woodland Hills made his own haunted house that he self-funded.
βI hope that some people get inspired to do this β to build a home haunt thatβs self-funded,β Elliot told KTLA Thursday.
Elliot Arnold created an immersive haunted house experience called "The Deathly Attempt" in The Valley. In order to create this elaborate haunted house, Arnold worked odd jobs and saved up his birthday money to make his Halloween dream of a haunted house come to life.
βOur son comes to us and he says, βI want to turn our carport into a haunted house.β And weβre thinking (heβll) throw up a couple of cobwebs, you know, a little scary figure, sure, go ahead,β said Zach Arnold, Elliotβs father. βThe next thing we know, he has 3D schematics where he wants to design this multi-room haunted maze experience and Iβm like, βthis is kind of crazy but sure, go for it!β
If you would like to check out Arnold's haunted house, it's open at night from October 28th-October 30th. Head to KTLA 5 for more or click here.
