Get Paid to Drink Wine in The Iberian Peninsula - For Science, Of Course

British wine retailer Majestic announced on their website that they are seeking to hire one lucky "Vintern" to answer the question: Does wine taste better on vacation? The wine company will send the Vintern to the Iberian Peninsula for three days for this very important research. Flights, accommodations, and a stipend of $240 a day are included along with a case of Wine Club wines produced in Spain and Portugal. The Vintern must taste the wines in the areas in which they are made, then they will be sent back home to try the exact same wine to see if they can taste any differences.

The company writes that "No previous tasting experience required - just an open mind, a passport, and a love of beautiful bottles. As well as tasting the bottles and enjoying some summer holiday sun, the chosen budding wine taster will also be treated to a visit to some of our Wine Club's beautiful wineries and vineyards."

Getting paid to drink wine in Europe? I could think of worse summer internships.
