This SoCal Water District Is Installing Flow Restrictors In Certain Homes

Due to the ongoing drought in California, the LADWP recently issued new watering restrictions that started June 1st and now the Las Virgenes Municipal Water District is putting some restrictions of their own.

The LVMWD is starting to install water flow restrictions on customers who have been warned and are continuing to use more water than was recommended. So far four water restrictors have been installed and when the device is installed, a noticeable amount of water is reduced. Once the device is installed, it will be on for at least two weeks so the customer can work on conserving water better.

If the person tries to remove the water flow restrictor, then the district can fine you for $2,500. Click here for more.
