US Soccer Reaches Agreement For Equal Pay For Women's & Men's Teams

Today is a historic day as the U.S. Soccer reached an agreement to achieve equal pay for the men's and women's soccer teams.

There will be equal compensation for all of the competitions, which will include the FIFA World Cup. According to U.S. Soccer, this will be the first federation in the world to equalize World Cup prize money. It is reported by the U.S Bureau of Labor, that a women makes on average of 83 cents to every dollar a man makes and the gap is wider for women of color.
