According to TMZ, Rihanna was 'shocked' and 'blindsided' watching boyfriend A$AP get arrested at LAX on Wednesday. The rapper was detained in connection to a shooting in November of 2021. After landing at LAX on their private jet from vacation in Barbados, officers took both artists by surprise with the arrests. Law enforcement sources told TMZ that they chose not to give either artist or their teams a heads up regarding the arrest because they wanted to see if they could find the gun used in the shooting at his home. Rihanna also was not allowed to enter his home by law enforcement when she wanted to pick up some of her things. Rihanna is in the third trimester of her first pregnancy. While neither artist has spoken publicly regarding the arrest, a source told Entertainment Tonight that "This drama is the last thing Rihanna needs right now" and that she wants to be focusing "100% on the arrival of her baby - not stressing out."
