After A 2-Year Ban, Hugs Are Back At Disneyland!

This is a big week for Disney fans! Guests no longer have to stay away from Mickey & friends!

The park was closed for 14 months. Then, when it reopened last April, we had to keep a distance from our favorite characters! No hugs. No autographs…. Only waving from afar, which bummed out so many families.

Think about it, if you have a 4 year-old, like I almost do, they have never actually hugged Mickey and Minnie. I can’t wait to take the twins and have them experience this!

Also buzzing this week is the return of the Main Street Electrical Parade.

The nighttime parade returns to the park this Friday, it will close with an all-new grand finale in celebration of it’s 50th year, which will feature a new seven segment float, that stretches 118 feet in length.

They incorporated Encanto, The Jungle Book, Raya, Coco and more.

That is my FAVORITE parade…and I have so many memories as a kid collecting everyone’s autographs, this is MAJOR that it’s finally back for these kids (and some adults).
