Everyone is still talking about what went down at the Oscars on Sunday night but James Corden took a different approach at recapping the Oscars on Monday night.
He was the only host who insisted "We Don't Talk About Jada" in a parody of Encanto's smash hit "We Don't Talk About Bruno". He poked fun at the biggest moment of the night but kept true to not talking about the actual situation!
The bit started with Corden and his team sitting at a table preparing for the night's show deciding what to talk about.
Corden kept being steered into talking about the obvious - Will Smith slapping Chris Rock - but he responded saying “No. You saw what happened. We have to talk about something else.”
Another writer tried to convince Corden but he remained firm, saying “No. We don’t talk about Jada. No, no, no.”
And of course, that's when the music kicked in! It was the music to Encanto's hit song “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” but Corden changed the lyrics recapping the big night and skipped right over the Will Smith situation.
Everyone already knows what happened anyway and he stayed true to the song title and didn't talk about Jada!
It was a full production with dancers and everything. It was funny, creative, catchy, and an entertaining way to recap the Oscars without just talking about what everyone already knows.
