California residents can expect a second Golden State Stimulus package to hit their bank accounts starting at the end of this month and will carry on every two weeks. Residents who applied for direct deposits will most likely receive their payments in their accounts between September 1st and October 15th. Meanwhile, taxpayers who issued a tax return after August 20th will have to wait a little longer for their payments as it takes up to 45 days to process the return and the payment to be released.
If you didn't sign up for direct deposit, paper checks will be released by the last three digits of your zip code, but if your tax return was issued after your zip code set date for distribution, you'll have to wait an extra 60 days.
