Directed by Jason Reitman, son of Ivan Reitman, and starring Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, McKenna Grace, and Paul Rudd, Ghostbusters: Afterlife serves as the direct sequel to the classic original films from the 1980s. Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver, and Annie Potts will also appear in the new film.
