Man Who Saved Child From Train Donates Half Of Reward Money To Boy's Family

An Indian railway worker went viral because of his kindness after saving a boy's life who fell on the train tracks.

Mayur Shelke was given ₹50,000 ($660) from the Ministry of Railways as a reward, and he donated half of it to the boy's family.

“I’ll give half of the amount, given to me as token of appreciation, for that child’s welfare & education,” Shelke said.
