The famous Los Angeles music store, Amoeba Music in Hollywood is getting to reopen its doors at its brand new location. The move to the new location has been years in the making, but the planned farewell concert at its previous home on Sunset Boulevard was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. Amoeba ended up speeding up construction at the new location and transferred the store's thousands of records earlier than originally planned. Amoeba Music will reopen its doors at the new 23,000-square-feet Hollywood Boulevard location on April 1. The music store is located across the street from the Frolic Room and the Pantages Theatre at the corner of Argyle Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard.
