Here's today's feel-good story:
Peter Thomas, a.k.a. Pilot Pete, has been the leader of Coffee With A Purpose which is an annual program that collects and distributes coats and other necessities to the homeless.
The idea came to Thomas when he was trying to figure out the best way to give back to the community and invite others to join in. In the weeks before Christmas, he received over 3,000 coats. To distribute them, Thomas rented a 26-foot moving truck and brewed up 40 gallons of coffee to hand out as well.
