Whitesnake's upcoming album out this Friday features a compilation of their blues songs.
The album -- called, appropriately, "The Blues Album" -- is the third release in the band's Red, White and Blues trilogy. The first entry, "The Rock Album," represented white and last year's "Love Songs" represented red.
“Blues to me is a beautiful word that describes emotional expression -- feelings of sadness, loneliness, emptiness," says vocalist David Coverdale. "But also those that express great joy, celebration and dance, sexiness and love."
