DAVE CHAPPELLE: REDEMPTION SONG takes on COVID to the terror at the Capitol

Dave Chappelle is at the top of his game.

Honest. Brutally at times. But honest.

Telling America's Story... even when it's not that much of a 'fairy tale' per se.

Live from his new residency in Austin, Texas... at the legendary STUBBS BBQ, Chappelle ripped into the state of American affairs.

"When a hero stumbles... the cowards rejoice," he says.

Then, he addresses his own issues as someone who caught the COVID-19...

"Cowards rejoice at a time like this because they are so invested in being afraid. When I said I had the CORONA VIRUS, the majority of people wished me well. But then there were some - the cowards - who said, 'you see that Dave Chappelle? That's why we stay inside where it's safe and WE never try anything."

"Well enjoy yourselves, M-F'ers, 'cuz I'm better now," he said to applause.

The Mark Twain-award winning comic then took on Edward Snowden and US spying on it's own citizens, the American terrorism against Americans at the US Capitol and how Black Americans never did anything remotely like this in history, and finally, he took on his own fights with Netflix.

It's worth watching this weekend... because it's perspective on NOW.

"Watch the crowd which told Colin Kapernick he can't kneel during a football game beat police officers with an American flag..."

Powerful stuff. It's on YouTube right now. You'll find it on the NETFLIX IS A JOKE channel... or at the link above.
