As the COVID vaccine becomes more available, CVS Pharmacies will also start offering COVID-19 vaccines throughout California next week. Approximately 100 of the company's pharmacies will administer about 81,900 doses starting on Thursday, February 11th. In order to receive the vaccine, you must be eligible to receive the vaccine under the state's current vaccine rollout plan, which includes people 65 and older. You also must have an appointment before receiving your dose and you can book your appointment as early as February 9th. Once the supply of doses increase, officials say that more of their pharmacies will offer vaccines. You can make an appointment by registering online at cvs.com or by calling 1-800-746-7287.
