Get The Details On How Miley Cyrus Joins Super Bowl LV Lineup

Even though my team was not playing yesterday, I still spent the day watching football to see who was going to make it into Super Bowl LV (which is the 55th Super Bowl FYI).

After the Buccaneers beat out the Packers and the Chiefs beat the Bills, the Super Bowl will feature the reigning champs, the Chiefs, and the Buccaneers led by Tom Brady. This will actually be Tom's 10th time playing in the big game, at the age of 43!

Of course for many of us, the teams playing aren't the most important thing of the whole spectacle - it's also about who's at the game, who's at the parties the week leading up to the game, and who is performing. Of course this year there will be far fewer people in attendance and I highly doubt many of those big star-studded parties will be taking place due to COVID, but there will still be a football game and there will be a big halftime show!

The game will take place at Raymond James Stadium, which is actually home of the Buccaneers, in Tampa, Florida. So they have a little bit of home field advantage! The Buccaneers are actually the first team in NFL history to play a Super Bowl in their own stadium!

As we have known for some time, The Weeknd will perform in the halftime show, and no word yet on if he will have special guests during his performance.

But the latest announcement surrounding the big game is that Miley Cyrus will be joining in on the excitement surrounding the game, performing at the TikTok Tailgate pre-show. Miley will be performing specifically in honor of the 7,500 vaccinated health care workers who are attending the Super Bowl.

If you want to tune in to Miley's appearance, the TikTok Tailgate can be watched before the game on Feb. 7th at 11:30 a.m. either on TikTok or CBS.

And if you want to tune in for the game itself - the game will start at 3:30 PST on CBS!
