Will There Ever Be A 'The Office' Reunion?

So you've probably heard the news by now that The Office (US) has left Netflix and now lives on the new NBC streaming site, Peacock.

And if you haven't heard by now then, surprise! Don't try and go watch The Office on Netflix right now because it won't be there.

While a lot of fans of the show are disappointed in the removal of it from Netflix - since Peacock is a NEW streaming service and so many of us already had Netflix accounts - there is one great thing that may come from the popular show moving streaming sites. It's more likely now than it was before that we could finally get a reunion from the original cast.

The show's creator Greg Daniels recently talked about the possibility of a reunion and said he has talked to several members of the cast about it as well! It's definitely not a done deal, so don't celebrate just yet. BUT, Greg did tell E! that the possibility is there!

“I think it’s probably more likely now that the show is on Peacock, but no plans right now certainly... People are more open to it now it seems,” he added.

What might be holding them back fro just going for it??

"The issue is — what is left to be said about the characters?”

The fan-favorite show debuted in March 2005 and ended in May 2013 after a nine season run, so there certainly are a lot of story lines that could be revisited, but it would have to be the right move to reunite the cast and tell another piece of the story that ended nearly EIGHT years ago now!

Getting the cast back together would include some of our favorite stars like Steve Carrell, John Krasinski, Mindy Kaling, BJ Novak, Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey. And honestly, it feels only right to finally get that group back together - even for a one-time special!

PLEEEASE make it happen, Peacock!!!
