Governor Newsom Advises You To Wear Masks In Between Bites At Restaurants!

It's no secret that wearing a mask in public is important and when you go to a restaurant, you're probably taking your mask off when you get to your table. However, Governor Gavin Newsom's office told California residents they should wear masks “in between bites” of food while dining in public. Newsom's office tweeted,

“Going out to eat with members of your household this weekend? Don't forget to keep your mask on in between bites. Do your part to keep those around you healthy."

The tweet also provided a photo of when to wear a mask, such as when waiting for food or reading, but not when eating. Californians are required to wear face masks when in public and in some areas like Los Angeles, residents are subject to fines if they don’t wear face masks in public.

Do you think it's necessary to put your mask back on in between bites at restaurants?
