Jeremy Zucker is our Next Up Artist of the Week! He joined EJ for a virtual interview about his musical beginning, studying molecular biology, his new single "supercuts" and much more!
Jeremy went to college to study molecular biology but during his junior year, he was approached by a couple record labels to sign to after just releasing music online and it gaining attention.
While he was studying abroad in London during his spring semester, he signed to Republic Records and they mailed the contract to him to sign the deal.
The idea of signing to me was like ok, somebody really believes in me enough to give me money and pay for all of my recording. I was like if a record label thinks that this could be a career for me, then I think this could be a career for me, and that's when I knew I wasn't going to go to medical school.
Now, Jeremy is releasing new music and his latest single is called "supercuts". You can check out his acoustic performance of it below!
