Why the sudden surge in working out? 53% of those surveyed said they were working out at home to get in shape, 52% said they were exercising to reduce boredom, and 52% said they were working out to improve their mental health. 44% said they were doing it to reduce their stress and anxiety, 43% said they wanted to strengthen their immune system, and 40% of those surveyed said they wanted to improve their overall health.

70% of those surveyed said fitness has now become a bigger priority for them since the pandemic. And survey respondents invested an average of $95.79 in at-home fitness over the last three months. (SWNS)
